Having crush zones of bendable/disposable components makes repairs quicker between heats. Imagineering at work.

I don't know if they are part of the original design but they have been on the trucks for some time, kind of a crumple zone?

Those kinda look like limit straps to me, but they are somewhat in-board at the same time. I think you are right Brad.

Are those breaking points attached to the bumper a new design? Make sense to save impact to the frame.
