I think overall Randy has done a good job. The owners always talk big about having a 'czar' type at the helm but when it actually comes time to handing over the keys they chicken out. They had the perfect guy for the job when the brought in Chris Pook, unfortunately, it was 10 years to late to save a already sunken ship. Had they hired Pook in '92 when open-wheel was at its zenith, and as Gurney had pushed for, the split would not have happened.
Agree. The current package was stale 4 years ago. The new package will bring brains into the series that left long ago. Firestone has a "doing you a favor" attitude with a snotty Asian accent. Hoosier, is homegrown and IMO a win-win. The closeness of the field is misleading. There is more parity in the equipment by default since the package is so long in the tooth but the parity in the talent behind the wheel is the result of the current package and is most obvious on the ovals.
Hi Tim, sorry that I needed to delete your post also, after deleting Ryans post, your post didn't have the same meaning.Ryan is not an RGM employee, he's on a pit crew in Canada?
I wish I could tell ya Tim. I need to get a new scale. The one I got is an old spring POS, that tells me everything is between 3-4lbs. So for now, I've only got pics, no stats : (
If I had to guess though, I'ma say 6, give or take a couple oz's. I've got a bunch of good ones this year, but this one
was a beast. I've got my whole '09 album posted on facebook/myspace if your on there.
Cuz RG put himself in a predicament. Thats all I'm at liberty to say at the moment. Not knockin the guys on the crew, just sayin they got their work cut out for them,& I think...no I'm willing to bet it's gonna show.
Hell no, that gets you points on my scale. I'm primarily a Sox fan, but I'm definitely a Chicago fan. I love it for the Cubs fans that they're doin so well. Hell some of them are thinkin they might NOT die before the Cubbies get into another World Series. Hopefully it's a cross-town,& it comes down to the last game....before we hand their asses to them.
