We have had some lay-offs, but not much. They are saving some through benefit reductions, instead of headcount. I keep trying to volunteer to be laid-off, but my boss won't let me. Something about a hiring freeze and they wouldn't be able to replace me. My husband works in IT for NetJets and they are looking for volunteers to be laid-off. I would think people would do more contract graphic work instead of having an inhouse person, but maybe they just aren't doing either. Well, things will eventually rebound, only I think they are going to get worse before the get better. All these lay-offs and businesses closing aren't helping the economy any.
I like to see who the newest members that join are and where they are from. You can see them over at the right near the top of the page under "Newest Members". I've become "friends" with several central Ohio members that way, it's nice to know there are some others around. I have never even been to a race let alone met Robby, but that's funny that he pulled his pants down in front of everyone. Rare breed, that's why most of us like him. You will like it here. I get to go to my first live race ever at Eldora next month and my first NASCAR race in Michigan 11 days later. I'm pretty excited. BTW - where do you work? I'm at Cardinal Health.
