After the last practice which resulted in blowing the heads on the car I scrambled the past two weeks getting the car ready for 4/18. Several hundred dollars later the car is ready! This week has been full of set backs...the heads and gaskets are replaced, but broke a head bolt putting it back together...waiting on parts and hoping to make the race on 4/18, Current sponsor cancelled contract. Well...the weekend didn't go so well...Froze my a$$ off at Friday night practice and the track was really slick...Saturday practice was good...I ran consistent lap times and was hitting my marks, then blew a head gasket and cracked a head during final practice on Saturday, missed my heat race and the main... what a way to ruin a perfectly good practice and evening, especially with my current sponsor there and 3 other potential sponsors looking to see me in the show...
