We now have 3 cars running! The #18 piloted by Barbara West, the #37 piloted by Steve Borkowski and the 37b (in the Driver Development Program) is being piloted by 14 year old, Bridgette Raucci.

Barbara won her heat race on opening night at the LVMS Bullring and finished 5th in the main. We are changing the #18's motor and are looking for a WIN or top 3 finish. She has the equipment and backing that she was lacking last season and she will be AGGRESSIVE as well as COMPETITIVE…

I have added a new dirt car to the team and I will test and tune in two weeks in Pahrump! Lot's to do on it as it has been sitting for 3 years...Have made a lot of changes on the current car which will probably be a dirt car primarily (and a back up for the asphalt) as it does better on dirt! The car is on the 4th motor this season and testing went ok. DID NOT BLOW UP ! ! ! I will be testing and tuning on the 28th , September 4th and 18th. Hope that I can get the car dialed in for the October 3rd race! Will keep you all posted!

Well...I blew up the motor AGAIN.....gggrrrrr...That's three in a row...I have one week to get it back together so I can race on Father's Day (in memory of my daddy). Then during our 6 week break I am building a chevy motor and junking the Oldsmobile crap. They cost a ton of money to fix and I keep blowing up in practice. The past 3 practices have cost me about 200 per lap (15 - 17 laps) on each re-build . F*ck Oldsmobiles...I'm going CHEVY!

A thousand and some odd dollars later the motor it done and in the car! I am taking it to the track tomorrow night to test and tune! It's been a long, hard and expensive season and we're not even half way! I found an engine builder that use to build motors for Ricky Rudd! How cool is that?! After the last practice which resulted in blowing the heads on the car I scrambled the past two weeks getting the car ready for 4/18. Several hundred dollars later the car is ready! I picked it up from the shop on Friday and prepped it for Saturday night’s race. Saturday practice was awful...the new rims and tires didn't feel balanced right and the car shook in the turns and on the straight ways. This week has been full of set backs...the heads and gaskets are replaced, but broke a head bolt putting it back together...waiting on parts and hoping to make the race on 4/18, Current sponsor cancelled contract. Well...the weekend didn't go so well...Froze my a$$ off at Friday night practice and the track was really slick...Saturday practice was good...I ran consistent lap times and was hitting my marks, then blew a head gasket and cracked a head during final practice on Saturday, missed my heat race and the main... what a way to ruin a perfectly good practice and evening, especially with my current sponsor there and 3 other potential sponsors looking to see me in the show...
