Dissapointing Day

Robby Gordon finished 40th in the Goodys 500 today. His day got off to a good start, he stayed on track when eveeryone else pitted (except for Scott Speed) putting him in 2nd spot. but he quikly fell back to 14th and, before long, he cut a tire and spun his toyota in the same exact spot he spun at in 2004. he came in for fresh rubber and, fuel losing a lap in the process. he went back on track fighting for the lucky dog when, he lost a right front tire and collided with David Ragen. gordon went to the garage to fix the damage, fix the tow,and replace a caliper. Gordon returned to the track 23 laps down, but his woes were not over just yet. A few laps after returning to the track, Gordon ran into an old "friend". Marcos Ambrose sent Robby into a smokey spin. which burned up a rear gear sending Robby back to the garage. when he returned to the track, he was 34 laps down. with afew laps remaining, Robby Parked his Toyota after he could no longer pick up Spots.

avg start 25.5
avg finish 29.5
