If I were that bike rider, PeterhanselI's mini would get drowned in the Bivi before sunrise. Too bad the champ had to show his arrogant frenchy side. Oh, & as far as the rules...there must be a NASCAR like grey area. I remember RG being penalized for this

Why didn't Peterhansel get penalized time due to unsportsmanlike conduct for hitting the bike racer? Doesn't Dakar have a detrimental to the sport penalty like Nascar? LOL!

This Dakar Rally is different - last 2 years they ran a lot of straight narrow road of dirt then do a 90 degree turn, I have not seen anything like that this year on the videos. Remember last year with the Fiat, it was one of those left hand sweepers that went to the rock next to a farmer field.

yesterday it was Despres not giving help back to another rider who helped him get out of the mud.
Today another frenchy just trying to run over another biker.
