A lot of led lights appear to flash when video recorded. I'm not sure this is what is happening here but seems to reason that is what's going on.
Led lights are actually not a steady on light. So it kind of appears to flash like a helicopters blades can appear to move slowly. Hope this helps.

@DavidZ, I've been watching that as well. My thought process is saying when a system is active, the switch light will flash. TOG might know if that is the case ?

Yeah, that doesn't sound healthy at all. Interesting to hear the clips where there's hardly any sound. Those seem to be Robby's helmet cam ones, and that there's some noise-canceling technology at work.
