quote from Hendricus: "They came out to see some high flying action. But then, they might cheer just as enthusiastically for the bikes, army trucks, Helux's and Minis - ya think?"
No, they don't. They cheer some for the other racers, but they go apesh#!*t when RG drives by. He is irreplaceable at the Dakar.
They do love Robby & his Hummer!!!
I think we should buy up a few H3 Hummers, rig them as recreational, pre-runners, paint them orange, and sell them in them in Peru, Chile, and Argentina. If my play money - er business speculation money - was wee bit more, I'd do it!
Also, my sense is that a lot of these people have viewed the RG videos this past year. They came out to see some high flying action. But then, they might cheer just as enthusiastically for the bikes, army trucks, Helux's and Minis - ya think?
Both times...
Oops, meant 'without'.
Great video. Thanks TOG. I love the amount of folks that gather at the spectator areas. It's obvious that they love our Robby. And yes, the Dakar with Robby would be like Christmas with the tree.
This is why Robby needs to come back. He has a huge fan base that can't and shouldn't be ignored.
love the way they roll their RRR's RRRRRRobbieeeeeeee !!!
He's becoming a household name in South America... and if the Fuel car is selling product then its all good...
