Stage 12 - Thursday, January 15

Fiambala > La Rioja

Connection: 4 km | Special: 253 km | Connection: 261 km | Total: 518 km
As concerns crossings, the day’s special is a concentrate of technique. Various types of dunes will be encountered, including the very formidable “white dunes”. Just three days from arrival, this stage can scramble rankings, especially because the assistance vehicles will not have access to the Fiambala bivouac. The Golden Rule is still: “know how to economize your machine”.

yes.....
Beacause sainz was leading and he held the diff.
just got back looks like i missed alot but we are not out, and they know we are there
Another great day! Just got to keep the Hummer humming all the way back to Buenos Aires!
I would imagine Robby had to "cruise" today. With no support truck it was important to keep the Hummer in one piece. Also, does anybody know what happened to the Higman blog? I can't find an update since 1-8
Tommorow is long, techincal and difficult. The kind of track that Sainz and Roma would do well in . but THEY AINT THERE. Not a Hummer track but a place where the only luck you find is bad luck. Im feeling good about this.
Roma isn't there? I thought he was stuck and would have a bad stage and lose time. He hasn't withdrawn yet has he?
Sainz dropped out so his lead on Robby goes away..
This time, I'll be happy to hear Robby's 'to finish first you must first finish' comment....!!
I agree.... not enough separation for team orders. Even they are given tonight....not enough separation for them to listen.
