I visit Speedtv.com a couple times a day to get racing news, and I haven't seen one single mention of Robby Gordon's Dakar effort on the site, and I can't help but wonder why. There's a story up about the Spanish leader in the VW crashing, but never a single mention of Robby/Team USA in an American vehicle, running in third to the mega-dollar factory teams. I'd think this would be a positive story in a rather negative time for Americans, yet Speed ignores Robby's effort.

SPEED doesn't seem to be into the off-road stuff.
I've been keeping an active thread going in the NASCAR forums.
Not Robby's off-road stuff anyway, they have CORR news constantly, and a non-Robby Dakar story today about the leader crashing out.
You're StuckonKyle?
Speed is just an extension of the rest of the media that doesn't care if it isn't nascar.By that I mean if it was Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon in Dakar, it would be constant.
SpeedTV has little to nothing to do with any motorsports outside of NASCAR anymore. Otherwise they focus on their god awful tv shows.

ESPN is back to having more racing than Speed. If Speed loses NASCAR qualifying and practice, then they'll have nothing. SpeedTV provides absolutely nothing to race fans anymore.
well, it's the only place to watch formula 1, their race coverage is awesome, I love those guys. I love Wind Tunnel and Robin Miller. And at least they have a karting section on their site. I've been banned from their forum for complaining about the stupid reality shows.
Coverage of Dakar?
Whaddya nuts?
There would be less room for pages of NOPI girlz and PINKS commercials!
Speed will have coverage of the Dakar on this Sunday's episode of the Speed Report. The web site is done in LA so they couldn't give a hoot, your right about that but I know for a fact Speed report will cover the Dakar. I work for Speed and with my job here I get a heads up on the content of the show. I don't know what block the Dakar footage but I would say it will be in the last half of the show more than likely.
Nena talk to your people we want Dakar coverage if they can do 100s of hours of Barret Jackson cant we get an hour of Dakar.
You work for those $%^%$#@@#%!!!!!!!!???????????? You shouldn't have told us that. What's with all the lowlifes, ghetto biker gangs, pinks, unique bolt-ons, etc, What are the ratings really like for those shows? What happened with the A1GP coverage that was pulled at the last second, and still to this day never explained to the viewers? Why'd Speed let Indycar get away to Versus with no fight? Why why WHY???????!!!!!!!!!!??????????? this is the first time I've ever actually had the momentary attention of someone who works for Speed in any capacity. These are the questions that got me banned from the Speed forum, and that they don't want to answer, now I go to other forums to complain about Speed.
Amen brother. The Champ Car coverage with Tommy Kendall back in the day was awesome. The car show with Tommy Kendall is lame. Bring back motorsports to speed!
Do you watch Wind Tunnel? It's hardly a motorcycle show, it's the best racing show on TV.
