Stage 13 - Friday, January 16

La Rioja > Cordoba

Connection: 161 km | Special: 545 km | Connection: 47 km | Total: 753 km

After having swallowed thousands of kilometers, participants will face a first-class physical challenge in this next-to-the-last stage. State-of-the-art pilots must maintain their position, while amateurs must avoid an excess of confidence. Errors can leave bitter memories, since this will be the day of cacti. At the bivouac, doctors will no doubt be called on to wield the tweezers. Finally, for the experts of traditional rallies, certain routes are part of the patrimony of the World Cup that takes place every year in Cordoba. Here, aficionados will guarantee a large popular fiesta.

Stop giving the ASO ideas.
Are they starting before KM 324 or at KM 324?
I thought km 324 was cp4 and they were starting there but after looking at the bike times on the tracker it don't look like they did. I must be missing something.
How long til Start for cars?
should be in about 5 minutes
1 hour from now. 1354 start time
oops sorry I calculated wrong
i found it helpfull to use the clock on the upper right of the main dakar page. that way i don't have to do much clock math...lol
Catch up later. Got to go
I am a little sad that today and tomorrow are the last times until the Baja that we get to follow RG run off-road. I realize that Laughlin is next weekend (almost got to go but didn't work out), and Parker? is sometime shortly there after? But tough to follow those in real time. Going to enjoy the next couple of days. Wish the stages this year could have been longer.. seems like Team Dakar USA did better in the longer runs.
What day is the Laughlin race?
