Well Ron Hornaday's dumb-ass wrecked our boy Brian Ickler out of the Toyota All-Star Showdown tonight...He was absolutely dominating at the time--he had led over 100 laps. But the whole crowd booed Hornaday pretty good, which is really saying something for a SoCal crowd.

But the main point of my post was to ask whether anyone knew if Ickler was going to run anymore races for Robby this year in Nationwide? He's clearly ready to graduate from Camping World East.

This isn't about your question but, they should of made Hornaday piss in a cup after that one, that was ridiculous even if it was the last lap, about 6-8 car lengths back going in to 3, going for it all with about 150 laps maybe? maybe he lost his brake's because after spun around, he kept rolling backwards down the track, that's all I could think of-sucks for Ickler
It sucks that Hornaday got into Ickler like that. It was definately a bone headed move. I saw a lot of middle finger salutes aimed at Hornaday when he got going again. And how about Joey Logano's move on Peyton Sellars on the last lap? That was equally as dumb and as a result, netted young Logano a 40th place finish. I imagine Logano pissed off quite a few drivers tonight for the way he drove them all during the race and especially after the massive wreck in Turn 4.
Not only did Hornaday ruin Brian's night,it ruin'd the night for a dozen others and don't forget the super late model race.Hornaday,Gilliland and Logano all left there talent at home last night. Karma
I agree Mike, Hornaday, Gilliland, and Logano (as well as a few other drivers), left their talent at home last night. Either that, or they took stupid pills before getting into their cars. I kept looking for a full moon breaking through the clouds.
Hornaday took the extra strength
Gilliland wasn't in that race
Gilliland was in the Super Late Model race and was part of the big multi-car wreck on lap one that caused a red flag so they could clean it up. I haven't seen the replay of the wreck, but I have heard that he was at least partially responsible for the wreck.
robby has a clone in brian ickler, loved the way he commented on hornaday, just like robby ,pull no punches,go!robby/brian
Anywhere to read these comments?
Brian Ickler and a TN boy (where I'm from) Trevor Bayne looked to be the class of the field. Both were taken out by Ron Hornaday who's been racing since before these guys were born.
It just goes to show you, there are people just as talented running at the local short track as there will be at Daytona.
Bonehead move by Hornaday last night. Brian had the car to beat last night, no doubt about that. The boos from the crowd were classic, shows how many people realized it was a cheap shot.

Brian has a lot of talent. An off-road guy as well, winning a Score-lite championship in 2003.
