I am just happy we will see him in a Dodge at the shootout in a few days.. 36 races this year in a Toyota.. and at the all-star race too. There's plenty of time for pictures!! My favorite photo opportunity this year would hopefully be the one taken in victory lane... we know he can do it!!
I see Kevins excited for the schemes. I think we all are. I will be very disappointed if we see them a week before Daytona and they are identicle to the 08 Beam car he ran in the 500, even though last years Beam car was the coolest of all the years in my opinion...
Kevin, patentience, is an important word to RGfans... play nascar math to fill time........Keith, wow dude! JVT humm? And to who ever said Everyone who matters already posted, guess not if this topic has two pages worth of crapola. One more, if it looks like last years I'll be superstoked(mountian term) because that car finished 8th and I think the paint may play a role in luck.......Happy Closer to RACEDAY fukrs
NightHawk, nobody has said his performance is related to his paint schemes. I am predicting him to win. I realized the wow factor when DW ran the chrome car in the 90's. Patience? Robby is known for racing without any, he has no off season, and most other teams have shown their schemes for 2009. I do see your point about this thread, however, it isnt all crap. Im surprised to see such a negative post.
From what I saw last year, Robby has started to show a lot of patience. He made sure he was around at the end, instead of pulling a questionable move to gain a few car lengths. I think this even showed in how he ran Dakar & Laughlin. Yes, he still is a balls to the walls racer, but he has learned the importance of being around at the finish. I look forward to this year and the new equipment.
