How Many Races into the season before Tony says.... Rob do you have a minute to chat!

I say it will take about four races into the season before that conversation will happen. I feel Tony will be able to get it smoothed out faster because of the money he can throw at it. Just my thoughts. The problem is us common folk wont know if the conversation ever happens.

The thing was Robby didn't go over their to kick Tony's ass at first. He was hot about being spun in practice and wanted to make sure Tony knew about it, but after saying a few things it looked like Robby thought to himself, "This is pointless. This piece of crap ain't listenin' to what I'm sayin', so I'm just going to leave." Robby turns and starts to walk away, when Tony finally decides to shove him in the back. What a wuss! That picture is the aftermath of Tony shoving Robby in the back. I think Tony realized it was a mistake plenty quick. If I may paraphrase Robby from a few years later - No one hits Robby Gordon and gets away with it.
I'll pass on that idea.
0 races, because i bet Tony hit RG up about something within 2 weeks after coming to his decision, even if Tony don't respect RG as equal on the pavement, definitly pry respects RG for how the dude thinks and pulling off what he has- That shot of Robby and Tony, Tony's face in that pic is priceless
After Robby wins the 500 we wont have to wonder. Well see Tony alot more!
Tony will be successful because he has contributed $0 to this race team. Everyone forgets the fact that Tony was GIVEN 50% ownership AT NO COST. HE DID NOT RISK ANYTHING!!!!! Robby has risked everything to make his cup operation go. Robby is still the only true owner-driver in my opinion.
this is off topic, but your avatar pick is the best one i have ever seen. the "clyde torkel chicken pit special". that is classic. nice!
Wow Man, these are very strong statements. I agree Tony was successful but damn, Robby isnt crap. He obviously isnt a double champ but he is solid and knows how to be a sole owner, unlike tony who had to buy a corporate team with support from hendrick. I would say that Tony will need Robbys advice if he ever becomes a true owner a.k.a. spends HIS own dollars on his decisions.

If you possess such a low opinion of Robby why rant on here with die hard supporters of his cause(and with caps locked at that)?
Let's look at this as a business. Very few business have a profit in the first few years, especially starting from scratch. No Robby has not won as an owner. He is successful by still being a full time team in NASCAR, he is in the top 35and he has multiple sponsors. This is with all of the restructing the team has had, with crew members, sponsors, makes of the car and deals falling through with other teams. Look at how many teams are gone or merged with someone else.
tonny will never be mentaly strong enough to handle the pressure. He will crack and he will show that on the track.
Tony doesn't really have that much pressure as an owner. Remember, he's only part owner, and he's said many times in interviews that come race weekend, he's just a driver.

There's really very little comparison between where Tony is at now, and what Robby has accomplished. 10 years or so from now they may end up in the same sort of situation - running their own teams with other drivers, but they will have taken very different paths to get there.
I don't even get this. Haven't they both already stated that they have discussed being owner/drivers in Cup?
Isnt Tony the number five guy at Hendrick? Just saying...
