this is a post for a just for the fun of it vote to pass time while the track is closed the next two days. i am personally still a much bigger fan of the original jim beam and menards "swoosh" paint schemes as opposed to the newer style jim beam and menards "flames" paint schemes. i thought they were original and one of the sharpest designs out there. i was just wondering which one of those two styles was more liked by all of us; the fans. so, i would like you all to say whether you like the "swoosh" or "flames" better. maybe we could tally it up and send it to rgm. i know this is a lot a rambling, but its all in good fun after a weekend of a lot of beam.

Swoosh for sure, although you'll need to see how Nike feels about that labeling ;)
haha. i meant it from the dictionary definition of "going really fast". hope that disclaimer helps? :)
I liked the Harrah's car that thing was all the way TIGHT!!!
My favorite all time was the Prelude Jim Beam Scheme, just black, white and bad fast.
The Original Beam scheme for me please!!!
Monster....
original fo so!
Love the new 2009 "Flame" scheme, but would really love it to have been reversed (red flames) black body
I like the old scheme better, not that the new one is hideous. I'm not partial to flames. Flames only belong on a chopped '49 Mercury.
Or a '55 Chevy...
I gotta say I kinda like it though. Garrett, if your readin,& your bored....

You know what to do.
I'm always bored Mike...
Favorite scheme was the Harrahs car, in either version. (they flip flopped the yellow and purple in some races) The Johns Manville car at Indy had a similar scheme too, just with blue instead of purple.

Another reason to love the Harrahs scheme, it was the last time Robby truly had a shot at winning an oval race. (Atlanta spring 2006, he had the car to beat and bad luck found him many times)

I was also a big fan of the RG Red Bull cars (lighter blue than the RBR cars are now) and how the #7 Fruit of a Loom car was originally supposed to look in 2005.
