Nascar VS. Weather

If nascar was so worred about the fans and knowing that it might ran why would the not start the race early so every one would not get wet and sick! Have the not seen the weather report all week say it was to rain sundy late after noon. think about the fan for once insteed for TV RATING!

T.V.schedules are written in stone, and only break for "Breaking news". Think about the domino effect of changing programing for the day...and trying to get everybody (Tech people etc) rearrranged for a time change. Just wont' work...besides too much $$$$$$$ involved.. $$$$$$$$ talks , bullshit walks, it's a rule!

Weather aside, someone was on crack when they scheduled this race.

First: a west coast race on Sunday should start no later than 1:00 local time. Us east coasters have to go to bed sometime to be ready to go back to work tomorrow. If NASCAR wants the race to finish under the lights, then schedule it for Saturday.

Second: the Oscars are on tonight. I'm sure my household won't be the only one where half of the TV viewers want to watch an awards show instead of a race, not to mention the "casual fan" who might have watched the race if it were on when there wasn't something more-hyped competing with it.

I know most of us will stick it out, but you can bet the TV ratings will be poor.

IT is already raining in city of La verne, 20 min. from track, Get ready for lomg day and race tomorow!

The report for the race from the weather channel is calling for a 10% chance of rain for race time, the track looks like if it stays dry will be very fast tonight.
