Egress at LVMS last night

After qualifying last night the egress out of LVMS was the absolute worst I've experienced in many years out there...I've been to nearly every event out there, and it just appeared LVMS dropped the ball last night in a big way. Due to that, we never made it to Lee's in Henderson to get some stuff signed...I was not a happy camper...How was Lee's?

All I can say is thank god my circle of friends don't commonly use the word "egress"..lol

PT Barnum would have loved some of you guys. To increase revenue at his museum he had a sign that read, "This way to the Egress." People would open the door to the egress, walk in and the door would shut behind them, leaving them outside. They would have to pay to get back in the museum. Several track owners are currently hanging their "this way to the egress" signs as I type.

Did anyone answer the question? how was Lee's anyway? I didn't go. I figure 2 nights in a row would make me look like a stalker.
As for the traffic Blame NDOT, they are the ones who made the already horrific(another big word guys) traffic worse. They key is you go early and leave early. Never stay for all of qualifying or a whole race. Or just sit in your car and get a nice nap. The signs say they tow starting at 9PM. Was the lot even empty of people trying to get home by then? The track is in the wrong place for egress.

Saturday was rough. I had a weekend "lucky 7" pass and it still sucked. 90 mins from time I got into vehicle.

Sunday I was out of the lot in 40 mins and home in a little over an hour. So Sunday I was happy.

Thats what im saying! I've been to nearly all cup races, and like dyno don, i've been out of there rather quickly. then for quals.,I guess they just werent ready for this until sunday's event. No worries!

I had the Lucky 7 thing too. did you leave early on Saturday and Sunday? We were having flashbacks to the truck race a few years about where we spent nearly 4 hours getting home.I decided unless I get to be in a suite and a VIP pass, I won't be going there for a long time. I got tired of being hit in the back to the head by people who had to keep gettin up. Did the have to pack the rows to tight in the Petty section? And who in the hell put the 99, 48, 88 and 14 merchandise trailers in the same spot? Total gridlock just trying to get to the gate.
