We have seen the number 7 on 3 different tracks so far this year, and it is early but what are the feelings around the Planet about the change from Dodge to Toyota? I'll be honest and say I know chit about todays cars, but it seems even though the number 7 has no teamates like he kinda had last year that the Toyota is a much better car for Robby's style of raceing.
How much control dose RGM have over working on these engines compared to being restricted with the Dodge engines last year? (That I heard was an issue.) Robby is a great driver no matter what he drives, but will the Toyota put him where we all know he belongs?

I may be forever banned from saying anything again for what I think but I sure wish Robby's cars were as good as that POS MW............................
Great job Tim and lance! "Thats the fact Jack!!!" You cant get out of a corner until you get into the corner first! One piece at a time!
Not really seen much change. Still going mad over the radio that the car won't turn or its ' Way way too loose'. Same as it's always been, but I do have hope and I think Toyota's will work better for him than Fords or anybody else.
At one point during the race, Greg biffle was so hooked up, he was lifting way early. Proving once again it's all about handling.
Dodge may pull out because I doubt they will be in the car buisness much longer. Most everything I've heard has Dodge selling only trucks, vans and Jeeps in the near future, since that is their only profitable models. I believe GM or whatever GM ends up being if they file for bankruptcy and down size will still be a part of Nascar. It has been stated time and again that Nascar is their most effective brand of marketing. Regardless of company health, they will need to advertise. I suspect GM will end up as a Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick company with Saturn, Pontiac, Hummer and Audi going bye bye. Penkse will go to Toyota and Petty will go to Ford.
We need to be patient and see what happens, there was no testing this year, so whatever RGM did was probably without much input from other Toyota teams. I do have a question though, asking because I don't know, who is he getting his engines from?
As stated on page 2 of this thread, RGM gets engines from TRD. Jayski also has a team chart that you can look at to see information like Engines, Crew Chiefs, Owners, and Sponsors for each team.
Thanks, Mario, I had skipped over that page.
Looks like more of the same.
