yeah follow the leader is fine but kirk said robby had only about one lap left and they didnt want to ru out of fuel roby would have been so pissed if that happened more than what happened on the track
Well said, the only thing I would add is look at TRG and the #71. They are a brand new team, and they are performing better than RGM already, granted they are using RCR cars...
Dashmn, I wholeheartedly agree about Kirk keeping his cool. He's also very good at quickly convincing RG to accept the changes he wants. That itself is an accomplishment.
I wouldn't however say the equipment is shitty. I think this car they ran the last 2 weeks is the best inter. COT so far. As for the pit crew, I saw a 15 something,& a 16.0 someshitty#. 16's? WTF, those are 1980's times.
PC had a respectable low 14 avg last yr, time to step it up boys.
WTF?!?!??

RGM IS AN UNDERFUNDED SINGLE CAR TEAM?!?!?

WHO KNEW?!?!

Maybe we can just get that posted as the header for the forum.......maybe "Imagine if he and Jeff Gordon switched cars!" right under it in a smaller font...
TRG is a new Cup team, not new to racing. They have loads of experience. A lot like Ganassi when he came to Cup. RCR equipment is a pretty good base to start with also.

The "loose wheel deal" tightened the points up for everyone. It's not a bad thing when you look at the points standings. The fact that Robby is only 133 points behind Chase contention is not bad. Considering the bad luck at Daytona & not so good Cali run, to be where RGM is sitting right now is pretty good. Had Daytona been a Top 15 and Atlanta been a Top 15, Robby would be among the Top 12 right now...How great would that be. The finishes weren't there, but knowing RGM had a car capable at Daytona & Atlanta should be positive, not to mention finishing well at Vegas.

It may not be on paper yet, but RGM looks alot better this year than they ever did last year. Other than the plate races, there was nothing positive last year. I hope Robby & Kirk take several trips to a road course and bring one bad muther to the road course races. In my opinion, everything is in place for Robby to get a win this year. Toyota gets good gas mileage and has good horsepower, they just need to figure out these tires and setups.

Robby has had a good car the last several times at Bristol, just got caught up in wrecks or someone wrecked him. If Robby can survive without being wrecked, Top 15 for sure!
a good qualifying spot would be a good start
Who is our sponser @ Bristol?
i don't know
Jim Beam per RGM preview
atleast we are moving the right direction in points if we could move up one or two positions every week we could be in the chase.hold on i did not just say that.atleast we are going the right direction.
I'm not going to wish that big yet, but where RGM is this year is where they should have been last year at the very least after four races. Of course there were extenuating circumstances, but that was only in the beginning of the year. I agree with Bigzoom's summary above. And Robby needs to stop whining and loosen his grip on the reins and accept Kirk's help.
All this talk about Kirk reminds me how excited RG was about Walter Giles at the start of last year. We all know how that ended....
