Rockingham Short Track Test **Update**

Got confirmation that RGM did test at the Rockingham short track last week with David Gilliland behind the wheel. I know there was some confusion about it,but the reports were correct. The car drove great , and Kirk was very happy with the test. This will be good news for the upcoming Martinsville race.

As soon as someone actually convinces RG that driving OFF the corner is more important than driving INTO the corner, he'll actually do fantastic here.....it blows my mind that this is his worst track...

I have a theory why he does stink at this track...

All Martinsville is TWO turn 11's from Sonoma linked together...and I believe Robby drives it in hard there and then outbreaks everyone to pass people lik eno one else can...which is fine when you are doing that once a lap, once every 2+miles...

It doesn't work 2 x per lap every 20 seconds....lol

pretty good theory. maybe we'll get lucky enough for him to read that,& try something diff in practice. & gray, that ain't just short tracks. If RG could roll out a lil sooner, he could mash a lil sooner (duh).

THe more familar Kirk is with the needed setups the better. Do you think Robby should give Kirk more say so on race day?

I wanted to see what you would say. I knew the answer. In the Baja Robby was all over the truck.
