THE RADAR YES YOUR PICTURE NO
From NOAA "Late Afternoon: Showers likely, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 58. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible." Of course it is 3:30 and raining.
Rain will stop in about 15 to 20 minutes. Let's hope they don't give up too early!
crapcar give up too early???.....naaaa its qualifying they will get it in....LOL
The one day I get a Friday off and it's raining.
thats exactly what I was thinking
There you go.... NASCRAP gave up already!
Back in the 90's they would qualify on Sat. if Fri. was a rain out.
So the rainout ensures that Paul Menard will start the race, so the #7 won't be running Menards sponsorship due to Paul being out.
Besides taping up the grill for more downforce, and running a light fuel load, What other changes are made to put the car in "qualifying" trim?
Might just have a good sunday drive ! Fingers crossed. Go RGMS.
I also believe they use lighter or thinner oils in the engine.

I believe the oil they use for Qulas would not allow the engine to last 100 laps in a race..
