Since the trucks won't be leaving any rubber on the track as the sprint cups won't either will this have any impact on Sundays race? I don't myself no enough about how rubber on the track effects the COT (or any car for that reason.) Will this be better for our Robby or can it work against him?

Will this cause more chances for crashes early until they (All driver and teams.) get the cars tuned in? With only 1 practice and no off season practice allowed any more will there be a surprise winner as well?

who knows...i am sure it will get alot of talk on sunday...it always seem the cars with a good "package" under them that it really doesn't matter what the track is like
Track will have less grip so expect many of the cars to be very loose at the start. Also, expect a competition caution around lap 50 [?]. Lastly, we may see excelerated tire ware.
As far as "surprises" go, I doubt it. I mean, the people who know this track (ie Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon) have utterly dominated it over the past decade+, and not having testing won't hurt them. I think we will see a surprise or two in the Top 10 though...I'm thinking Robby or Gilliland or both could squeak in there. I know Martinsville is Robby's worst track historically, but he ran quite well in practice, often outpacing JJ and J Gordon, and both David and Robby will be helped by the fact that David did some testing work for RGM at Rockingham. The only other people who went to the Rock to test were the people who really didn't need to, except for Kyle Busch who hasn't been able to master Martinsville. Yet.
