If the heavy rumors are true this is what Robby and Childress are looking for so another attempt at the Indy 500 can happen. According to all reports (rumors) on the subject Marty Roths inventory is all that is available. The price was rumored to be 2 million back in October and he does not need the money so I assume it about the same now. I think old Marty is a little bitter that the IRL told him they no longer would give him a license to run in the Indycar series.

Mike King, a person with many IRL inside sources, originated the rumor. Food for thought, if it was a flat out lie dont you think someone would have come forward at this point? TOGs response has been "good equipment is hard to find."

It might be completely false, but what if it isnt? I have engineering ties in the IRL community, so until I hear from them they are outfitting components to an RG driven car I doubt everything, but again no one has denied it...

Who are you referring to with the spelling? Mike King announced it on his radio show.

Credibility? Its a rumor, no one has said it is anything else. Take it with a grain of salt.

I am just going to sit back and enjoy the ride; the fact that there are rumors at all is a positive for Robby. When his name doesnt come up at all, thats when there could be problems. Attention is always good for Robby and RGM, even if its untrue in this case.

LOL!!!! So true that some people put so much faith in a rumor sometimes written by someone who simply has too much spare time on their hands. I would love to see RG race anything (seriously, if he raced a tricycle, I would watch), but until it is on robbygordon.com or ESPN, to me it is all just BS to me.

There are rumors and then there's just making stuff up. Some of you are ridiculous. Don't post blatant crap and say it's going to happen according to "sources" who for all I know are the voices in your head. Seriously.

Just for your knowledge, Messageboards and talk radio are two of the least accurate places to get information. If you look at the rumors that have spawned from talk radio and/or message boards over the past few years, it is laughable.
