Talladega anyone?

Is anyone going to be in Talladega this weekend???? I'll be there Friday and Sunday, just wondering if anyone else is going, I sure don't see many of the few and the proud. You guys just let me know, I'll make sure I boo Micheal Waltrip for you guys in the driver introduction, and if some miracle MW wins, I'll throw the beer can. haha.

I have a good feeling about this weekend, I hope Robby can atleast get a top 10 like usual there.

Going to be in Dega Friday thru Monday. We (Mouse, Path, Gibby and I) will be staying only 15 minutes from the track so if anyone wants to meet up, let me know.
As for beer cans, up until this year, I have had seats in the upper section since 93 where the can throwing occurred those couple of years. DO NOT DO IT!! People lost their seats the 2nd year they were throwing them. I know you may have been joking, but Dega officials were not.
If anyone is thinking about going and hasn't decided for sure yet. DO IT!! One of the best tracks to visit!!

It's a fun race track I think, you can really go and watch a race and carry on a conversation with your friends. It's 3 seconds of cars and another 43 of quiet time. haha. I live in Huntsville Alabama so I'm only about 2 hours away

For those of you who will be at Taladega, Robby will be introducing the band "Blackberry Smoke" for thier 5:00 concert in the infield on Saturday night.

Apparently the band likes the Planet too, since they "borrowed" some graphics for thier web site.

I just called RGM the lady I spoke to said that Robby is doing 1 apperance this weekend 4\24\09 (friday) 6 to 8 pm at montana grill. I think it is on hwy 77 between I-20 and speedway blvd. She also said that the merchandise trailer will not be at the track. that sucks! will be here in the fall.Oh well the vendors on the other side of speed way blvd across from hall of fame have Robby stuff just gotta hunt for it . cheaper too they dont have to give 20% to the track.The best part is the vendors are amazed when you buy Robby stuff . You gotta be tough cause they say all kinda sh--. Looking foward to a great weekend top 10 or better ! I live about 20 miles from the track will be there fri and sat no tix for sunday will watch with wife and 4 boys on my couch. Hope to see some of you at montana grill on fri nite

I wonder what is going on with the merchandise trailer? I emailed Checkered Flag Sports to see if the trailer would be at the June Michigan race, but haven't gotten a response yet.

Yeah, they haven't responded to my inquery about the Loudon races either.
