Where are the Toyota's?
I was just noticing Sunday morning when I looked at the paper and saw the race results in print. Chevrolet had 1st through 7th place (9 of top 12). With the exception of a couple JGR Toyota's you don't see any Toyota's until way back in 26th place, there they all placed. Wonder what the deal is?
Last week there were a couple Toyota's in the teens, but all the Chevy's locked up most of the top 10.

Tracks like Darlington, Bristol and the plate tracks I wouldn't worry too much about that.Luck plays an even bigger role at those places.

like TOG said.. it just has alot to do with racing luck.. No matter what anyone tries to say.. It's just a fact that luck has a huge play into racing.
but I would also point out that the top 12 from last week was all from major funded teams.. almost all hendrick.

not to mention the top 5 were Hendrick cars as were 6 of the top 7 ...with Truex ruining the Hendrick Chevy dominance!

I disagree TOG. Bristol and Darlington usually have the same people who run well there every time. It can't just be because they are lucky. If you look at the top ten; Martin, Stewart, Gordon, Johnson, those are the best of the best in Nascar.

All I am trying to say is that at some point during the race, a Toyota WAS running good enough to finish in the top 10, but bad luck had an outcome on their result. And it isn't a surprise, seeing that Darlington, Bristol and Talladega are 3 tracks where one can easily get caught up in someone elses mess at a higher % than lets say Michigan or California.
