Had Robby stayed out when the last competition caution came out, he would have been the leader ,and I know he would have dropped like a rock on the re-start.but the question is, how far do you think he would have fallen at the checkered flag ? Would he have wadded it up ? Would the tire have blown out ? He wouldn't have finished any worse than he did,and he would have gotten the extra 5 points. I think he would have finished in the 20's if the tires held up. But I could be wrong. Any thoughts ?

A $50,000 tire bill? Holy $hit!
50k tire bill? what a joke!!!! Next time go to PEP BOYS and get 4 for $99.00
At least they would last longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goddamn embarassment that race was......what a fucking joke. I think the teams should send a check for about .55 and tell Goodyear that is what they are willing to pay for shit!

The good news for those of you wanting tickets to next years race.....there will be plenty available. Indy is no sucker town for racing and I guarantee you request for ticket renewals will be at an ALL Time low.....fucking NASCAR and Goodyear..those two could fuck up a wet dream.......

I fdo feel bad for the teams who had to spend the money, bust their ass, sweat like pigs, in hope their car could make it 10 laps without fencing it....NASCAR should pick up the bill (yeah right)....
I originally was hoping he would either take 2 tires before the last stop, like the the third to the last or second to the last for track position. Then I hoped he would pit before the pits closed for the last Goodyear caution and stay on the lead lap and then stay out on the caution, but I do not think they could have stayed on the lead lap because he was so far back.
Hopefuuly it is a good car with a good setup that will work at Pocono this weekend, as far as I could tell the car did not have a scratch just a bunch of very expensive Goodyear dust.
I do think NASCAR should only award 5% of the points because they only raced 5% of a race (8 laps)
Don't think the tires would have taken it. He was complaining of them chunking after about 6 laps, wasn't he?
I have never heard Robby so cautious before....like waiting for the other shoe to drop after Harvick blew out the side of his car. Just didn't make sense to push it .and destroy a car, because the probability was so high of another blowout. Kind of like how we drive...I keep good tires on my car and feel safe doing so, but know people who practically have no tread left before they replace the tires. I'm not implying at all that Robby was afraid to race, just wasn't possible on those tires. It must be so frustrating and to have to pay so much for crap tires was the icing on the cake. I'd be P.O, for that fact alone...,lol
Ha Ha, there's no cure for me, short of duct tape or breaking my fingers, lol Hey maybe State Farm could sponser Robby, give him the good driver award and all, or is that Allstate? lol
