Robby qualified 40th at Dover with a lap of 23.734 (151.681 mph). What do you think? Can he get a good finish starting there?

wish i was in dover this year had a blast last year.40th fine!
if the car can be made right on the day of the race then sure he can get a good finish you can pass at dover and clean air is less important then at bigger tracks all he can do is try and get the water heater to the front!
If they don't find some speed before the start of the race they'll be lapped in a hurry...like 30 laps. This don't look good. :(
i'm hoping he'll get a good finish, i want to see him move up in points.
He can get a good finish if they get the car in better shape come race day. Since driving skill is not Robby's issue, having a decent car is the difference between staying in the back and moving forward. If they can't improve the car, his only hope is picking up positions through attrition. With this car, that is a crap shoot on any given race day.
If he changes the TRIAD motor for a pair of hamsters, does he still have to go to the rear of the field?
Agreed. Just have to hope for the best, because it looks a little bleak right now. Reminds me of the 'gamble' of changing over most of the car before the Vegas race.
Before the 15th place finish?...
Its Dover. He'll need plenty of cautions, that aren't him, or else he'll be a lap down early and it will just a long day.

A top twenty is the best you can hope for....
RG hasn't been fast off the jump in quite a few races. His cars have been good on long greens. Hopefully the car will run better in traffic,& continue to be good for long runs. This way we can stay out during some quicky cautions.
There were many people on here who hit the panic button last week after qualifying. Robby ended up picking up quite a bit during final practice and came home 3rd.
Correct...
