Doug Richert

I saw the photo's from Dover that had Doug Richert in them. Is he helping Robby? A person with his credentials would be awesome for RG.

I'm glad to hear all this good talk about Richert, he has been around a long time and what happened was, he left Biffle for one of the Red Bull teams, apparently that was not working so he either left or was let go. Happens all the time in crew chief land, maybe what Robby needs is to step outside of his "comfort" zone and let someone coach and cheerlead a little. Whatever works!

I think, depending on the Gunsellman Team situation and any truck commitments that we will see more of Richert with the RGM bunch. Maybe he can wip the pit crew into shape. I also hope he plays well with the Almquist boys.

Adding someone like Doug would add to that "depth" thing that most teams strive for...Im pretty sure we could use more depth in our organization!

I liked hearing Doug's stay positive attitude on the scanner and hope he returns soon to help RGM.

Apparently Doug has a day job as the crew chief for the 64 car which will be at Pocono with Mike Wallace behind the wheel.

I guess Doug was available for some part-time work with Rob since the 64 wasn't at Dover.

I haven't been a fan of Mike's since he made a snarky comment about Darlington hotels - but it would be nice if Doug and his team could make the race.

I'm not thrilled about Mike Wallace in any cup car, one more driver I pray we don't get near on the track. How can anyone run half a lap trapping another driver sideways along the wall and not even know? Forget the track, it was Truex a couple of seasons back. He shoulda been drug tested the minute he got out of that car.

As long as Rob is in the top 35, the more teams that come, the better chance a slip up by the 82 could mean more cushion.

I was wondering who this guy was. I liked the guy who was spotting before but he was so quiet. I think it helps to have someone like doug on the tower
