Western Kentucky University will be sponsoring the 05 chevorlet of Casey Atwood for this Saturdays Nationwide race @ Nashville. WKU which is located in Bowling Green, Ky. (Which will also be proud to have me at their school starting this fall) WKU is about 45 minutes from Nashville. I could put in a good word for Robby, Lol, but it would be interesting to see more teams have colleges as sponsors.

I wonder what the #7 WKU Toyota would look like?

No, that wouldn't fit Robby's m/o. Robby likes to play with the big boys and compete against the best. It would have to be a SEC team LSU, Florida, Alabama someone with a set(of balls) to match their resume.
No, no, no, no, no. It has to be SC or no team.
Best of luck with your education.
Uh does no one recall how well the hill toppers did in the big dance this year. Since RG represents the under dog the dark horse the cinderella story WKU would be perfect as well as anyone with money that wants to sponser him.
I've been thinking of marketing opportunities for RG today. With the Chinese / Hummer deal, I bet there is major opportunity to tap into new sponsors for his oval stuff that no one in Nascar has considered or had contacts to tap.
Tsingtao Beer
China Southern Airlines
for example.

work those guys over at China hummer!
I'm just curious why a university is sponsoring a car. I'm a student at the University of South Carolina and I know we are going through teacher cuts/tuition increases. As a student, the last thing I would want my school to do is drop a few thousand to put our name on a D+ Nationwide car.
True, from the recent ESPN/CBS contracts with the SEC, any SEC school could sponsor a cup car, but is it a good idea? I know Athletic funds are separate from Academic, I just think it would be a waste of money.
booster bucks could be used on this rather than being put in someone's pocket
One does wonder if that is a reasonable use of funds for a school but then I am no marketing genuis but I suspect some of the marketing genuises aint marketing genuises either
my vote is for kentucky
Uh, I HATE UK!!! With a passion unmesurable, no kidding, i would root against Robby if he had UK as his sponsor.
Good Luck at WKU in the fall. Bowling Green, KY is also home to the National Corvette Museum. You can take a free factory tour there to see them made. The museum has an admission fee, but there are some nice Vettes there.
