Tis true..an adept male spotter can spot a #69 in the crowd from anywhere....
The race is in Cali...why not run car #420? just sayin.......
Hehe I don't think a good portion of the usual NASCAR viewership would quite get that...
the number 39 has yet to win a race, but it might not be too far away.
History of the # 69 http://www.nascar.com/kyn/nbtn/cup/data/car/car_number_69.html It never ran more than 3 races in a year. Last time it was used was in '92.
Newman said in preseason interview that he wanted 39 cause he raced it as a kid ...The 4 was to be the second car but as the beam stated the4 would have been a gamble and Ryan got to choose a throw back to himself.
So you're saying that the car number is officially 204, but it will just have 4 on it during racing--almost like an abbreviation of the "real" number??
yes. its kind of like how robby ran the #155 in the nwide series. but on the car it was just 55. The #204 is the official number for the owners points.
Its a shame Haas or McClure didnt know "W" or Obama as well as Hendrick did Clinton....all fu@#$ing criminals....except Rick got a pardon
for those not up on Mr Hendricks "Checkered" past (as opposed to his Jimmie Johnson "checkered" present..lol)..here is some light reading:

He's lucky he pulled this merda back then...he'd be in jail...fake cancer, real cancer or otherwise...for a LONG time if he had pulled this today...

One can insinuate Karma into all of this if one so chooses...
so.. hendrick did get convicted and then a pardon ?
thought he was aquitted.
no convicted and but for his "ailment" would have served a LONG sentence. Prosecutors DROPPED the conspiracy and 13 counts of money laundering charges as part of a plea agreement when Hendrick admitted to giving cash to a Honda executive mainly becuase they believed he had alimited time to live...and made it home confinement for a yr versus jail time
