2009 Infineon Race Weekend Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekends activities at Infineon for RGM. There will be 2 team cars for RGM this weekend, PJ Jones in the #04 and of course Robby Gordon in the #7. First practice is on Friday, June 19, 3:00 - 4:30 pm/et, live on SPEED.Qualifying is also on Friday, June 19 at 6:35pm/et,live on SPEED. There are 2 practices on Saturday, June 20,12:30 - 1:15 pm/et and from 1:50 - 2:50 pm/et,both live on SPEED. Race Coverage of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2009 TNT at 5:00 pm/et; pre-race show at 3:30 pm/et; green flag approx 5:16pm/et.Post here or follow the race on raceday chat.

On NASCAR.com this week..........I don't remember anybody talking about Robby....they had Borris as #10 on the Fantasy must have and no Robby....

Which is OK...becuase I like the flying under the radar routine better...I think it takes a little of the pressure off.....

I have commented before, but please race fans do not get worried when the #7 is near the bottom of the speed charts in the middle of the first practice. Typically Robby will shake the car down early, and wait to see what others will put up. He will then come out towards the end guns blazing.

I also would not expect much during practice #2, historically the team tries some extreme setups and concepts to see if there is more speed. Final practice will be a better indicator of what he will have on race day.

Robby just interviewed...........Looks to me like his plan is to underpromise and over deliver....I like it!
