2009 Infineon Race Weekend Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekends activities at Infineon for RGM. There will be 2 team cars for RGM this weekend, PJ Jones in the #04 and of course Robby Gordon in the #7. First practice is on Friday, June 19, 3:00 - 4:30 pm/et, live on SPEED.Qualifying is also on Friday, June 19 at 6:35pm/et,live on SPEED. There are 2 practices on Saturday, June 20,12:30 - 1:15 pm/et and from 1:50 - 2:50 pm/et,both live on SPEED. Race Coverage of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2009 TNT at 5:00 pm/et; pre-race show at 3:30 pm/et; green flag approx 5:16pm/et.Post here or follow the race on raceday chat.

wow! 10 laps in according to nascar.com.. and nobody is even in the same zip code as far as average lap times with 10 laps.

Fellows has a pretty good lap average.

Yeah, but he hasn't ran half of what Robby has....Ron ran 6 laps while RG ran 13

yes he does.. with only 6 laps.. Robby has the exact same average but with 13 laps. so just for bragging rights.... Robby is better.. :)

Robbys last speed is better than almost half the fields TOP speed.

Just need to pick our way clean to the top 10, top 5 on that first fuel run and we wil be sitting pretty

Fellows is close on average speed but Robby has run 7 more laps than him. This car is awesome!!!

hey.. just a thought.. i have no idea if they are doing this or not.. but for money savings...there could be a good chance that PJ is using nothing but older tires during practice.

I wont get real excited tomorrow unless Robby catches and passes Montoya. His car is probably the best out of all the cars starting inside the top-20

If a cuation comes out on lap 36 and everyone comes to pit..does PJ STay out to give RG the free entry then come down the next time and scrifice the track position?

I predict Robby to pick off about 4 cars at the start of the race and then things will settle down a little bit then Robby will pick them off one by one by being steady and constant thru-out the field.
