While watching the Rolex car series race on SPEED TV today, it was mentioned that Robby Gordon will run the grand-am race at Daytona on July 4th, before the cup race later that same evening. So a double-header for Robby Gordon on July 4th. Stay tuned for more details.

*** UPDATE ****

Robby will NOT be running the grand-am race this weekend.

I think it is nothing but a matter of logistics. He is already there, so why not ?
If it's "no big deal", why change anything?
About damn time! It's been pretty annoying watching guys like Jimmie Johnson actually do more road racing than Robby Gordon the last several years.
As I recall, Wonder-Jimmie's performance wasn't anything to write home about either. Regardless, I would love to see Robby in that race.
wow, that's cool
A few Cup drivers are running that. Glad to hear RG is doing it.
My semi educated guess is the Spirit of Daytona team that he aran for in the past. They have a second car entered as #90 with no drivers listed. The other car is #09 and the drivers are rumored to be being changed in that car as well.

matt
Who cares! RG is gunna dominate Primm and lock up the SCORE Championship in Sept. showing all the whiners in Off Road why Robby Gordon is the greatest off road driver of all time. Again
I dont think Robby can make that Primm race unless he starts and hands it over to another driver, Maybe his Dad....and to travel from Vegas to Richmond......doubtful.... Although I would love to see him out here and racing.
He is racing Primm... Confirmed after his baja 500 win.... However, he may be pissed at Sal.... Just a little.
What does Primm pay to win? A free dinner at the Black Angus and a six pack of Tecate?
Hey, I'd race for that. ;-)
