Invert starting line-up on rain outs

Every 3rd time that qualifying is rained out, NASCAR should make it fair and see if the guys are good enough to come thru the field. If truly want to see good racing.

that would be interesting but I dont ever see that happening. Do they really want Stewart/Johnson/JGordon not in the picture at the start of the race?

I think it should be just the top 35 that gets inverted. I thought about this many times.

If NASCAR was smart enough to figure out that having the fast cars come through the pack, would be great TV. Before you argue that passing is at a premium and less likely to occur with the COT, look at Matt Kenseth. Most mega teams would complain, but Matt would be right at home. The go or go home guys would still be at the back, since the weren't in the top 35 anyway. The points leader would still get pit selection.
Or send all the cars out at 10 second intervals for two laps 2 hours before the race. This way you get all the cars on the track, sell more food and beverages, because people would come early.
3rd idea: arm wrestling, Joey Logano would hate this one.

Arm wrestling sounds like a great idea! It wouldn't be weather dependent and is as fair as anything.
