I like the wave by rule but I think starting double file should wait untill the 1/2 way point or somthing like that. I don't think it will work good at all on short courses or road courses. On them they should do it the old way with the wave around rule still in play.
Double file restarts are great but I miss old school racing. Bring back factory sheet metal on a safe Nascar car and dump carburetors in favor of fuel injection. The guy / team with the best engineer and driver win; maybe even dominate. Get back to where a factory technology investment in Nascar can be used on showroom cars.
Does win with a cookie-cutter on Sunday and sell on Monday still hold with the COT?
Issue #1 Double file restarts.....Good or Bad? Me:" Good? " WRONG!!!!! Jack Jack Jer Mon?? "their okay" WRONG!!! Pat Bu Chan not poissibly win Anan?..... "only at intermediate tracks?" WRONG!
The correct answer was..."an imperfect solution to bring more excitement to make up for the shortcoming of the COT."
Issue #2 Jeremey Mayfield, Methhead or not? WRONG!!!!!!! lol
Double Files are great. It gets the lap cars out of the way. I like Tyler suggestion about triple file for Pocono and how about Talladega, Fontana, Indy and LV. They are all wide enough.
To make the race starts more interesting, let's do standing F1 style starts at the road courses which will make Turn 1 a real breathless moment. Then, on the next lap, put out the red flag to pick up the pieces.
