Does RG always wear the monster helmet? Is this a specific sponsorship arrangement, or Robby's choice?

Monster sponsorship for helmets for Robby and his crew.
So when folks say " gee, why doesn't Monster sponsor Robby on the cup side" , the answer is , They do. Every race.
they do
Oh boy, you guys are just throwing rock at the hornets nest aren't ya.
Monster has what I believe is called a "personal contract" with RGM. Meaning they sponsor the driver,& crew. However they don't sponsor the team, or the car. They've HAD a primary (as we all know),& an associate sponsorship on the car before. However currently, I believe they only have the personal deal.
BTW, if Monster really believes the whole younger demo thing, they need to hire some more open minded people. There were 50+ yr olds @ the trailer the other day asking for monster swag. If you've been on here for a while, you may remember me saying Monster should open up their marketing strategy a lonngggg time ago. I used me crackin a monster before dawn cracks to go fishing as one example.
Anybody see the 5hr energy commercial where Steve Wallace is all jacked up, talking about going fishing, catchin fish, having the energy to keep fishing????
Anybody wanna listen now?

Don't get me going...

Same fish, different shirt? lol
No, different fish. Same place though, great lil spot I got for spring break-out bass. Caught a whole album full of 'em this year.
If I remember right, thats the one I poured some Khaos down his gullet before I let him go....jumped like 7' out of the water a few minutes later...ok I might be lyin about that last part

I've got the whole Bass-Tards '09 album on myspace/facebook both
Yeah, Paul Tracy always has the Monster helmet but he can't convince them to sponsor a full-time Indy ride for him. And they're only sponsoring a partial schedule for their poster child, Ricky Carmichael, in the truck series.
When you see these athletes wearing Monster or Red Bull helmets, 95% of them are signed to a Personal Services contract. In this contract, when ever they wear a helmet they are required to wear their sponsors colors and log on their helmets. When Sobe No Fear was a sponsor of mine, they sponsored my team/car, Not my helmets. My helmets had a Sobe No Fear decal, but that was by my choice. If I went and raced with another team it was not required that I have any Sobe No Fear logos shown. I did just to support them, but it was not part of our agreement. Later my Sobe No Fear deal changed and I only ran a small decal on car and then on my helmet.

I'm guessing Robby's deal with Monster is actually four different contracts. 1 contract is a full sponsorship deal to be the primary sponsor on the Robby Gordon Off Road Chevy TT and on the chase trucks. The 2nd contract is to be the primary sponsor on Robby's Dakar Hummer and support vehicles. And then the 3rd contract would be a Personal Services contract for Robby to wear a black Monster logo'ed helmet when ever he is competing in an event. And the 4th contract would be the RGM Cup pit crew helmet sponsorship.
Monster is doing what thay can for alot of riders , drivers, and x-sports types. Ultimately, right now I think their spending a lil' on MX
