Just to fill in the gaps from my Twitter posts. Robby was trying to get the car to go loose on him. It seems everyone is fighting a tight off condition for turns 2 & 4. It's the typical cot tight corner off under throttle.

I think rg was happy when after a long garage stay he came back out and the car was loose everywhere. The team can now work backwards the other way. Hopefully they take into account that it cooled down a bit last night; a loose car yesterday in practice would be un drivable today.

I truly think you will see this car move to the front after the first pit stop. I will be posting updates throughout the race on Twitter. Since a lot of people get the radio feed online, I might update less often than I did for practice. If people still want detailed updates, just let me know.

thanks for the updates matt, i just hope that robbys car comes to him sooner than later today! robby needs a good run to turn the season around and move up in the points and this could be the start then getting a good finish at pocono and afterwards, maybe a win at the glen.

Rob was just trying to get Johns Manville some TV time. The strategy worked as he is on the front page of NASCAR.com.

NASCAR screwed with us long enough to have him start with nobody to race with there with the #18 caution. If i'm correct we should have some cars to race with and not behind all the lap downs.

I know it's nothing to be proud about but it is one less thing for the team to worry about. This time last year they were really on the line of falling out, and I think they did for one of the races near the end of the season then got back in and stutterd to the end of the year.
I want the # 7 to be much higher up in points just like you do and Im sure everybody at RGMS does but this is the Sprint Cup Series and it seems like it's bloody hard work. He's on his own and doing the best he can.

Bloody hard work against teams that have more money and more resourcies in the form of other teams. But this year, there is at least hope that he can throw together some top 20 finishes.

Last year was just downright brutal. It was just hang on, run out the clock and finish in the top 35.

It's tough but progess is being made with this team, just not as much as we would like to see. But it's there.
