Has Robby Gordons Twitter Account been hijacked??

I'm just asking this because i've been getting a ton of tweets on my cell phone saying that it's coming from Robby gordon..It seems like an advertismen saying.. " Get hundreds of twitter followers daily www.getfreefollowers.coom".

is this something i should expect?? or has someone hijacked RG's twitter to send cell phone spam?

Iv'e seen the same, and was going to reply to them to ask RG (or his minions - LOL) to stop spamming us.

hey TOG! I remember seeing about a week or so ago a text that came from Robby Gordon that said "We are now on the we are following website.. some part of twitter.. I don't really know much about it.. but if by RGM joining that with his twiiter account and that has brought us all a bunch of Twittter spam. Anyway you can talk to your contacts up there to say I don't like it...lol.. as i'm sure a bunch of other on here also don't like it either..

None of it appears on the twitter web page so seems like RG is a victim of cyber fraud.

A teeny-tiny note appears on the "getfreefollowers" website:

By joining the train you agree your account may be used to promote iWantFollowers.com You can always deactivate this by going to optout.

So the site is sending these messages using the RobbyGordon account.

No, it is a big deal. It's annoying as hell, especially when I am following on my cell phone. I don't want spam.

RG should opt-out of that feature if they insist on remaining a part of that service. I know if I keep getting these I'll stop following.

Was told they did not sign up for that service, so none of the automated spam messages should not have even come through their feed.They are getting it corrected as we speak.
