If Robby brings his new updated version of the COT (don't know the chasis #) this could be a great race for the #7 this weekend...There are a couple of things to avoid like a Glen hangover and flying hot dog wrappers(always alot of trash flying aroud) a top 15 finish could be just what the doctor ordered...If Robby is Robby he will ride the rim and if the set up is anywhere close at the start of the race he may be a contender..The long runs are where the #7 has excelled this year and there should be a few green flag stops this weekend the cup drivers are being extra cautious not to mess up anyones chase chances.........

Michigan is known for long green runs.
Robby is known for short practice sessions.
"If Robby is Robby" he'll follow in the same pattern and end up fighting to remain on the lead lap around lap 30.
If they come with a different playbook, and a different approach to practice, maybe there could be different results.
But then Robby is Robby.

Top-25 if he resists playing with the squirrels.
Insert Allen Iverson video here..lol...
Oh Gawd... LOL!
After the Glen, its hard to get excited about Robby chances at any track...
My feelings exactly. I kinda feel a little empty about the rest of the season. But he's had some good runs with the new chassis, he could surprise us. I will still end up watching!
I feel the same way. I am a bit down in the dumps with Robby right now after how excited I was to be going to the Glen. It was your classic case of setting my expectations too high. I need to see him do well soon.
Staying at the Glen until Monday (for 5 days) burned me out on Nascar, but I'll be ready come Sunday.
I'll feel empty when he isnt on the entry list.
After the Glen? Robby got a top 20........what more do people want?........At this point right here and right now......winning at a Road Course isn't an option any more....just not going to happen....anytime he gets a top 20....about as good as it can get...I was happy with the Glen result.......

If Robby decides to jump in a Hendrick or JGR or MWR car......he could win on the road.....
MWR bite your tongue !
One can always dream!
I would like to see him do 20-25 laps in each practice session. Of course they won't, but I would like to hear that they ran 20 laps on one set of tires and did two qualifying runs at the end of practice. If they did that every week, it wouldn't surprise me to find them making better changes throughout the race.
