I remember hearing that. Must of sucked in the car.

The car ran good today until all of a sudden it got really tight. I hope they figure out why it got tight.
Somebody wondered if it may have been the locker in the rear. Same behavior when it broke last time.
Sorry, TOG, I did not hear the fumes comment, but did hear Robby having a hard time with the heat.I was worried about heat exhaustion . Doug asking about CO2 makes more sense now, but as I said Robby really sounded strained. He was definately done forr the day. I don't know enough about the mechanics of the car to guess what was wrong, except I heard Robby mention the airflow blocked due to the tire blown/wall situation. I still thinhk the CC sucks.
Now were going to Bristol where getting lapped happens easier for Robby. When will the bleeding slow?
Wow, we're negative on Bristol before the week even starts.
Its just so hard to get our hopes up lately gas
I am as disappointed as many on the list. In the big scheme of things I enjoy watching and sharing my weekends with the folks on planetrobby. I am also proud of RG and RGM because he makes every race (how many would he have gone home on speed?) his way in a sport of huge teams and huge dollars. Let's be proud of him and his achievements.

How many of us on planetrobby can say we have achieved as much as he has?

Must we live our lives vicariously through RG?
He was pretty good at Bristol last fall before he got caught up in a wreck. Hopefully the double file restarts will help with the lapping thing.
I look forward to the exact same type of weekend at Atlanta, California, Texas and Lowes....

And any place else he tries to ride the wall. It happens every time.
Yeah, his intermediate cars have been faster this year, but he does ride that wall...which causes trouble. He rides it at Bristol too.
It has been said that racers like Dale JR have strugled because of the COT. You cant drive them like the old car. If you notice Dale Jr trys to drive the COT like the old car. He does not try very many lines. When Dale hit a track he finds one groove and thet is where he races all day.

I have noticed that Robby does the exact same thing. He is like Dale and MW as far as he finds one line, typically up high next to the wall and he runs there all day. Example; California Robby will run low in 1 and 2 and then high is 3 and 4 for 90% of the race. Then once the car turns to complete shit he is high all the way around the track.

Now look at the guys who are doing well with the COT. Kyle, Jimmy, Tony and Jeff. They will try differant lines threw out a run or during the race as the track changes. In an interview Jeff Gordon said that this was why he struggled with the COT the first year and a half. He said you have to take what you knew about the old car and put it out of your mind. Heck just wach Kyle he will have ran 3 or 4 different lines during a single fuel run, depending on how the car is running and who he is racing on the track at that time.

So I wonder if putting aside the fact that RGM does not have the funding or the resorces that the big teams have, I wonder if some of the problem is Robby cant seem to find what the car needs and he is trying to make the car drive like he wants it to, instead of driving the COT like it needs to be driven?
Jr had about 2 inches between himself and the wall the last 15 laps today.
