RGM is holding down 34th in owner points -110 points from 33rd (37 track positions) behind Paul Menard. Meaning Robby would have to score a Top 10 & lead a lap, with Paul finishing 40th or worse to overcome 33rd in one race.

RGM has a 122 point lead over 35th and a 237 point lead over 36th.

28th thru 33rd are only separated by 183 points.

take away the 50-point penalty at Charlotte, the two or three wrecks not of his own doing (the 55 and the 12) and throw in top 10's at the road coursees and you have major improvement from this team.
Well put! If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd have Christmas every day. Lets stop talking about points ... its embarrassing , and at this point, meaningless.
knock 10 years off my age and I am in my twenties ! lol
That is tooo funny Meredith! What if?????????
A couple more dollars and can make rent... haha!
26th in points, 30th, 34th, who cares. Its all the same for the most part.

hell, even the guy who finishes 13th in points would say its the same as finishing 34th.
Except they get an invite to the banquet for some reason.
Each points position equals more money, more money turns into better cars, better cars - better results, better results More Money... money is the root of all evil and all good!
this year has been pretty miserable for RGM, not 2005 miserable but still, very few highlights. I'm happy as long as he doesn't fall below the top 35.
I know it's cliche, but I feel as though Robby is not finishing anywhere near where he's running--he seems able to pass cars with ease at every track and stuff and then gets caught up in something stupid and the results are not there. Obviously it's where you finish that counts, but it's incredibly frustrating to see him not closing out on what could be good runs.
You still have the patent on the oversized hands ??
I'm down to be a 3-4-soldier at Fontana for Trackside...
