Looks like Jack Roush put Erik Darnell in the #96 for 7 races ( obviously to protect rookie status ) and now Bobby Labonte is looking for a ride. His PCP will probably get him something .
THe one thing hall of fame will have is a top 35 starting spot for the first five races of 2010. Morad is the listed owner of the entry, I'm sure he'll be able to land something with that.

And it got some good mileage too... I didn't think you were serious. But you do get riled up as easily as I do! We just seem to take opposite stands on a lot of issues. Yet there are others where I read your post and couldn't have said it better myself.
that's funny....no that's f#$%*in' funny. The only driver that will sit in a RGM car ( that's not RG or PJ ) is standing beside RG in the ' 2009 Bristol Souvenir Trailer ' video.
What if, When, Suppose, I hope, he should, he could, then if, you know what, ECT.ECT. This is starting to sound just like the conversation my son and his friend had at the Rushford demo about how they were going to build a dirt track behind the farm. They had it down pat, all angles covered if not for one thing they would have gotten it done, they were 12 years old. Bobby Labonte has driven his ass off i'd hope but the car is junk, Yates is getting the shitty end of the Rousch stick (in the eye) and putting a rookie with sponsorship behind the wheel to get hopeless experience is the next best thing to letting Labonte beat his head against the wall. Personnel is the key to getting anything to work so a left arm team at Robby Gordon Motorsports would have to atleast have some skeleton in place. Hall of Fame has been bouncing around for quite some time and looking at them I don't see it. The only thing I see is a soon to be belly up sponsorship covering the gas and tires to keep Bobby Labonte from being a fancy start and park. As far as the rest of the "Yates stable" they may be on the right track but right now Ford is spelled with an R for Rousch. I now pause to recognize the Wood brothers racing team................................In the end I ask this ......(get it) where does ASK.COM get the bread to be on a cup team anyway? That sponsorship is floundering and HOF is shallow on personnel so get real and forget the idea of them joining RGM. Please don't close this topic unless you folks enjoy being a common fan group going in a common direction, which in this case is recognizing the fact that HOF would be an anchor and not an asset. While i'm at it let's give Paul Tracy a call then we ............i'm sorry RGM could have a teammate come Indy time. As a wise man once said, "let's get this thing moving upward and onward".
Mindless speculation is fun and i'll take this time to join in. Just give in to the next entity that comes along with cash and to hell with the primary goal of growing the team. I say growing the team. It may appear that we are spinning our wheels but we are not, Each year has shown progress other than the number of pit boxes on pit road. Remember the guy has a massive offroad project going as well, I for one could not do all that he has done without my gray matter getting gray hair, and I don't recall seeing any at the Glen. Gas On, change for the sake of changing is not changing at all. We all want a second car.......when it is right.
Yes its a real shame that Bobby lost his ride. No doubt Darnell has some talent and probably will work out as good as the car is anyway. As a side not I found that the ASK search engine offical search engine of NASCAR or not pretty much left me asking why am I using this and got rid of it. I see ASK soon to be atop the search engine scrap pile in the sky (mixing methaphors I know sorry).
