Looks like the pre-season media pick to win the next SPRINT CUP CHAMPIONSHIP has had the trunk monkey strike again.

I heard he was in an accident driving a grand-am car. Don't know if that is true or not.

Edwards will race this weekend and is expected to see a specialist in his hometown of Columbia, Mo., Thursday afternoon.

In 10 Atlanta starts, Edwards has three wins, six top fives and eight top 10 finishes in 10 starts. "

How effective will he be? The 500 miler can be a grind on the body.
