So some inside dope on what made RG do so well, is the CC finally getting a handel on the car or is RG just relaying car conditions so the CC can make adjustments? Any way great finish.

It shouldn't be surprising- the intermediate program has produced some good results this season- 15th @ Vegas, 3rd @ Charlotte (mainly a gamble), 17th at Michigan race #1. Mechanical gremlins ruined his second michigan run and other good runs.

There are 5 intermediate tracks left- should be a good end to the year for Robby.
at michigan in the second race robby cut a tire and hit the wall...........same at bristol................
I think Robby ran so good cause he was hurt it made him drive more careful!!! Could not go all out some times you gotta slow down to go fast!!! LOL just kidding------------but
u try holding him back.........never happen.......................
hold him back, nah. Hold him down (as in lower groove) that'd be a plus.
Lucky dog.
For thoes of us that did'nt have time to listen the scanner....what was said?
it was a mutual call that rob and kirk made.......rob wanted more kirk wanted less...they met in the middle.............
It was a good show with the much needed lucky dog making the night and Rg held on to it. It is a proven fact that money time and effort in the intermediate arena is the best spent , especially in the second half of the season. Intermediate tracks are the base format for modern day nascar .Im looking forward to a home town top ten come October !
Something like this...(from memory)

Robby came over the radio and said "The car is F***ing crap! I'm wrecking all the way around. It's so F***ing bad, I'm almost wrecking down the straightaways! This car is a piece of S***! I'm tired of this crap!"

Kirk replied, "Is it loose in or off?"
Robby, "It's F***ing horrible everywhere Kirk!"
Kirk, "Come in and we'll take some air out of all four, that should give you some grip."
Robby, "What's our limit on air pressure? How far can I go down?"
Kirk, "We can take out as much as you want, but the track will tighten up so 1 or 2 should do it."
Robby, "Take 4 lbs out of the tires. Drop the wedge down 2 rounds."
Kirk, "You sure you want to take that much? The wedge should give you more grip."
Robby, "Take 4 out, I'm telling you this piece of S*** is all over the top of the track!"

At the time it appeared to be the dumbest call Robby has ever made, but it turned out to be just what the car needed. I'm sure Kirk was speechless and suprised the car responded so well.

The pit stops were slow. It showed on Live TV 2 stops, and both times the rear tire changer was slow, almost 1-2 seconds slow. Robby was extremely unhappy and let Kirk know it. Doug tried to support Kirk, but Robby was tired of excuses. He said "I loose 2-4 spots every week, it's bulls***! I'm done with this!"

I'm sure they will address this issue. TOG posted a clip of the pit stop, watch how slow the rear tire changer is.
pretty good memory Zoom...sounds pretty spot on to me. At the time I was one of the one's saying here we go overreacting but it worked out.
Great job BZ! I listened to the complete race on the scanner and could not have come close to recreating it , except for the numerous F-bombs, lol.I've heard robby pissed b4, but last night took the cake. He did lose 4 or 5 positions on the last 3 stops. I'd be pissed too. correction, I was pisses too!
