What is the spin on this? "Gordon said he had not been involved in a crash for at least 15 years." What is the definition of crash?

It's hard to see in the pix if he had the shiner, but wasn't that visit right after the big Hummer desert wreck? Since no other vehicles were involved did he not consider it a "crash'???

I believe he's referring to his civilian / personal car on the road - not his race car's......Although the way its written it doesn’t really make since.
