yup. These guys arent drivers in the cup series because they suck.
You are also correct sir.
You are correct sir
Tony is much more of a talking head now than he ever was before. Robby isn't nearly as outspoken as he once was too. I think being parked at Pocono has really tamed him some.
More likely, when you run in the 30's, there just aren't that many microphones to talk into.
If NASCAR influenced the final results a fraction as much as you seem to think they do, it would be the driver of the #88 going for his fourth straight title, not the #48.

If the driver of the #48 were hated a fraction as much as you seem to think he is, NASCAR would wash their hands of him in their grand scheme of race/championship manipulation and give it all to someone else. Someone that they felt the fans wanted, and that the fans could relate to.

There is absolutely zero logic in the idea that NASCAR manipulates the individual races and championships to a specific conclusion, to the benefit of Jimmie Johnson AND that Jimmie Johnson is a driver that can't be liked. Really, how do you even put those two things together? And even better, manage to be wrong on both? People like Johnson. He was a top ten vote getter in the Chex Most Popular Driver voting last year, and is among the ten finalists this year. But his popularity doesn't hold a candle to Dale Earnhardt Jrs. Of course I'm sure Lowes paid for all those votes somehow and manipulated that outcome, since they weren't actually getting any real ROI from all the race wins, multiple championships and merchandise sales. Right?
Anyone else scream and yell at the TV when Jeff Gordon ran out of gas..stalled ON the track...was pushed back to the pits by a Nascar truck and was allowed to refuel and go back out on the lead lap???

I'm no Nascar official...but that was B.S.!!!!!
Yep... like I said earlier. They play by a different set of rules.
Robby and his Team had a great race yesterday. For most of the race Rob let his CC do his job and he did his. Something I know his hard for Robby to do. But, it was working. I just wish, we all could have seen what might have happened, if Rob had done what Doug said and stayed out. Robby's last words before the green were "a bunch more are going to run out, the 26 is running out right now"! I think not... I know with Rob being owner/driver it is hard to give up control, but listen in to Tonys radio he does it. Maybe these next couple races he should just give it a try. Just a thought.
I think the cars getting pushed back because they were out of fuel and then were able to stay on the lead lap was BS. Its one thing when there is a red flag and someone is stalled and they get a push but running out of gas was thier fault, its part of racing, just like when Papis ran out when they were going to restart and RG had to pit causing him to be in the big one. Those cars shouldn't have gotten a free pass like they did.
I agree too. I couldn't believe they waved off the greed flag just so cars could get gas. If you're not ready when the green flies, well, then it sucks for you.
No need to dig anything up. The track is fine, it's the plate rules.
