According to Robin Miller @ SPEED, Ryan Hunter-Reay is expected to announce Thursday he has a contract with Michael Andretti. Good for him. Beccy must be excited about it.

Even though the team wasn't as strong last season, and carries the burden of Marco and Danica, its still one of the quality rides in IndyCar. Hopefully Kanaan comes back from that retired in the seat mentality he had last year and the team rebounds a bit.

No reason an AGR car can't win a race and squeeze out a top six in points. I don't see any way they can really go toe to toe with the three Penske and two Ganassi cars for the full season though.
Not sure anybody could compete with the Penske Ganassi dominance. It was like watching Cup this season with the only drama being which Hendrick driver will be up front when the checkers fly. Guess I'll be spared that pain next season since I have DirecTV and can only watch the few events on ABC.

Hoping Ryan can lift the quality of that team once he's in a decent car. Then I'll be grumbling because I'll only get to see him in the highlight reels!
So how many teams would that be for AGR? Now I just want Paul Tracy to get a ride for a full season.
Still four. Mutoh is out. God willing Danica gets dropped and PT takes the seat. If he could be competitive right out of the box with KV Racing, he could actually beat Penske's drivers if he had AGR equipment.

An influx of driver talent should do wonders for the team.
Great news for Ryan. I am wondering how the chemistry will work. I know in the past he's not been a huge fan of Danica and he's really not a big Marco fan (or wasn't). But I guess being their teammate may change that. He're hoping he kicks butt and takes names and helps bring AGR back to where it should be as a top 3 team.
Robin usually knows everything before it's anouced. Really great news! Go RHR Go!
