As long as NASCAR does not change the rules before February, RGM has a 191 point lead on 36th. He doesn't even have to run Homestead.

Actually if he didn't run Homestead he would negate his locked-in standing, but still quite the relief
Robby can skip Homestead...just as long as the #7 is there with a driver.
I know, I assumed he meant that the team as a whole could skip Homestead.
It's nice to know we'll be able to see Robby for at least five races in 2010.
Also assuming no penalties for being too low..too high etc after the Homestead race...lol
Leave it to the lawyer to think of that one. LOL!
They won't, because getting rid of the top 35 rule would actually be a good move.
What if they decide, due to start and parks that it will be top 30! You guys know they make this shit up as they go along.
I would hope any changes would only affect the teams after the first 5 races. They may start the top 30 rule with the 6th race. I can't see them changing it after making the teams race for the top 35 all season. But they could as we all know.
Unless Robby decides to pull his entry and Scott Speed wins the race and leads the most laps.
