I know this is a big wish, but, I wish Robby would team up with the US Border Patrol....I saw a show where they were really trying to beef up the Patrol Vehicles for use in the desert, they even had a sand rail that broke down while taping the show, it just seams logical that if they were going to sponsor anyone in NASCAR that it would be someone that could relate to their mission. Robby could build are give technical advise for their fleet of desert vehicles and they in return could give Robby sponsorship for at least 10 races..I know that they have supported Kenny Walace but like any good government operation they are always subject to change........

May hurt his run for the President of Mexico...
True True
lol ! yeah he has a large hispanic fan base, plus I dont think the Border Patrol would have the cash for a cup team. Just beacuse someone has their name on the hood doesnt mean they have a lot of cash. Some drives might have a sponsor but they might not be getting top dollar, but if it means RG is in the race I dont care who the sponsor is.
All Robby needs to do is buy off a member of Congress. I am surprised Congress has not outsourced the Border Patrol like everything else in this country.
haha
screw mexico HOW MANY OF US WOULD WANT HIM FOR PRESIDENT OF THE USA
I'd rather watch him race.
might have to stuff a couple of those new Freightliner's full of Security the next time he's south of the border, nice idea though-Money's money
On a slightly related note, it seems as though Robby and Mr. Bailey have reconciled their differences? I was under the impression that Vanguard only sponsored Robby last Dakar just because of contract issues but that Ron Bailey would be out after that, after Robby criticized the Dakar committee for canceling the 2008 Rally due to terrorism concerns. And on a related related note, did anyone hear about the Spanish aid workers kidnapped in Mauritania this past week?
this is still part of the original deal
Ahh gotcha. Thanks for helping a brotha out.
The Border Patrol sponsorship deal for KW in the Nationwide series was worth just over $1 million according to several news reports including MSNBC. Other reports had in in the $1-3 million range. Either way, that's not a lot of money for a full season of exposure.
